What are Worship Services like?
We have two Sunday morning worship services. The 8:00 service is traditional and offers standard hymns accompanied by the organ. The 10:30 service is informal and offers contemporary praise songs, accompanied by guitar and keyboard and other instruments. Both services are Lutheran in character and very easy to follow. We provide our guests with worship leaflets that spell everything out we do and include our Bible passages read and hymns or song lyrics sung. We also use a projection screen at the 10:30 service to display the Bible readings and song lyrics.

Does Shepherd of the Valley offer child care during morning worship?
Childcare is offered during the 10:30 service for children under five years of age. Children age five and over are welcome to attend church with their parent(s). A special "Children's Message" is included in the service especially for them. This is a church that loves kids!

What is appropriate "dress" for worship services?
There are no expectations about dress. Come in clothes that makes you feel comfortable. Some feel more comfortable in suits and dresses, while others prefer shirts and shorts. It's simply not an issue with us.
