Family Fellowship
Shepherd of the Valley provides opportunities for our church family to draw closer to one another, our friends and neighbors. "Fellowship Time" follows each worship service. We offer coffee, juice, and goodies. This is a wonderful time to get acquainted and support one another. Once a month, we make an effort to meet together for additional fellowship. Examples of this are holiday celebrations, sports activities, potlucks, progressive dinners, picnics, beach parties, etc. Our fellowship events are open to the entire community.

Youth Ministries
Our youth ministries are for those in the 6th-12th grades. They meet on the first Sunday of each month from for a "Youth Rally" at the church. This includes dinner together, Bible Study, Christian music, fun stuff, support and prayer. Once a month, they also have a service project or a fun outing (bowling, ice skating, decorating floats for the Rose Parade, etc.). During the summer, they meet at the beach each week. The entire community is invited; participants need not be members of the church.

Statements of Faith from our Youth!
- I believe that God is with us 24/7 and even though it may not seem like it at times. If you need a friend or someone to lean on God is there. Maybe not physically, but spiritually with the bible and friends and family.
- I believe that we are going to heaven because Jesus died for us and he is always with us. He is AWESOME!
- I believe that through faith in Jesus, we will be blessed with eternal life and happiness.
- I believe that God keeps me safe from all harm. He makes it so that I don't have to fear.
- I believe that through faith in Jesus and that he died to save us, we will have eternal life in heaven because of Gods amazing love and grace.
- God is loving. His love flows through us. He is there for you always. A friend, a brother, a father, loving and caring. His mercy has no end. He has a purpose for you and a reason for all that happens. In your darkest dreams, in your highest highs, he is with you, showing you the way. Through you, his mercy will spread to others like yourself. Come except Gods love. Let him change you. You are not alone.
