Family Prayer Requests:
* David Bass passed away to glory this week. Please keep his family in prayer.
* Heidi Morgan, Al Maebe and Irene Rennhack all need healing and strength...
* Jim Heiser and Chris Tittle have surgeries coming up
* Wayne Finley is undergoing medical treatments
* Several in our church are unemployed or have employment issues...
* Pray for our ministries getting under way again after summer breaks: the Wednesday Bible study, Choir, Movie Nights, Confirmation classes, etc. And our Sunday School as it begins a new year of bringing God's Word to God's children.
* Pray for our church and our ministry together.

happens here on Saturday, September 5, 11:30 - 1:30 on the front lawn!!!! Good food, fun games for the kids, great Christian music! This is not only a great fellowship event for us but is meant to be an outreach, so PLEASE invite those friends, neighbors, relatives, co-workers (it's all free)!!!!!! WANNA SOCIALIZE? One of the advantages of a small church is that great things can happen with surprisingly little planning and effort. We try to have several "fellowship" (fun social stuff) events each year, planned by our Share/Hospitality Team. But, actually, we welcome anyone planning anything that seems social and enjoyable to join in! If you plan to go bowling or to the beach or have a barbecue or watch the BIG GAME and you are willing to invite other church folk, just e-mail or phone the pastor. We'll extend the invitation to our church family! Usually 10-20 participate in these things, but that can vary and if you want to limit the size that's easily arranged as well. With VERY little effort, you can turn a personal or family event into a fun SUMMER FELLOWSHIP EVENT for the whole church! Our next SCHEDULED event is CHRISTIAN NIGHT at the Storm baseball game, July 17th.
WANNA MINISTER? If you'd like to serve as Lector (reader), Host, Usher or Acolyte (candle lighter), please contact Marydee of the 8:00 service (745-2525) or e-mail Carole of the 10:30 service carolewoodward@hotmail.com. Any Questions should also be directed to them.
WANNA SERVE? We have a vacant position on Share Hospitality Team. Our lawns need mowing each Saturday, why not volunteer to ride our tractor one Saturday or come to one of our WORK PARTIES, which typically meet the third Saturday of each month. Call Wayne at 433-6916.
WANNA SEE THE DOC? Our Doc (Pastor Al) makes house calls and they're FREE. He'll be pleased to stop by your home or meet you somewhere for a visit - whether you have anything special to talk about or not. The thing is, he won't show up at your door unannounced or uninvited or request to see you, so talk to him and tell him that you want to see him. You can e-mail, phone, or talk to him on Sundays. He'll set up a time that's good for you.

Old magazines for cutting up
1 Hula Hoop
6 bean bags
2 packages of pipe cleaners, assorted colors
3 garlic presses
4 ten-inch balls
6 pairs of children's scissors
2 boxes of cornstarch
4 boxes of baking soda
2 packages of multi-colored paper (to make people)
Bottles of tempera paint (1 each of yellow, brown, white, and black)
12 paint brushes
12 glue sticks
Pack of 12X18 construction paper, (2 white and 1 assorted colors pack)
